Hi! I'm Amy Coleman and I have been painting furniture for over a decade, but it was during 2020- mean, stupid Covid- that I really began to focus on upcycling pieces to make a living. My awards shop business almost died during this point and I knew I needed to do something different. I started advertising my painted furniture and it sold really well and since then it has grown so much! Painting furniture and decorating my antique booths with vintage decor has brought me so much joy and has made me realize that God has given us all talents that can be used to His glory.
We want to upcycle and resell as many furniture and vintage decor pieces as we can in order to keep them out of the landfills. The US has so much unnecessary waste and spending, and we believe that recycling furniture, decor, and even clothing is the best way of life. It is up to us to protect the earth's resources.
My husband John and I are the main pieces of Blackberry Belle. He helps me fix and move large furniture items, and he is really good at sourcing and finding creative projects and vintage decor. My family is also very supportive of our hand painted furniture business.
We sell furniture- sometimes painted, sometimes just repaired and cleaned up- and vintage home decor. I also sell Wise Owl One Hour Enamel paints and supplies as well as DIY clay paints. And lastly, we engrave gift items like cutting boards, journals and signs.
